Whizzer Hunt

Hello,
New kids here. My 73 year old brother and I want to acquire a Whizzer.
Spend our time in Sacramento CA, Reno, Las Vegas and Phoenix AZ.

We've leanred enough to get hurt. He got hurt on his...I never got to ride one. Mom won't let him ride the Indian anymore (mine now, hah!).

Know we want 1948 or newer with Model J / 300 motor.

Restored kit bike, older restoration, unrestored project, or complete engine kit to install in my old balloon tire bike.

Not interested in Pacemaker, Ambassador models...want old bike with motor.

Ideas? for sale? Leads? Where to begin search and learning?

We finished our Model A's.... looking for next toy.

Thanks, Fredthecat

Hi and thanks.

Where might the Green Contraption be located? Oddly looks like something we would drag home.

The search begins.

It's right here in Huntington Beach. i don't have his phone number, but I may see him this Saturday at Donut Derelicts. I'll post what I find out. He also has another one that may be available.

Thanks. Is the pretty black and white one for sale?

We determined we have a 1955 Columbia 26" bicycle.

If I can aqcuire the makings of a complete Whizzer J Model kit I'll build/rebuiild one.

Thanks for the help, Fredthecat

Sorry Fred, I didn't see the owner at Donut Derelicts car show, so I'll see if I can find his phone number and get more info. Last I heard, he was considering $5000.00 for the pair.
