No, just RPM's while the engine is running, and it's an hour meter as well, diplayed when the engine is off.nice find...that would be a cool addition to a bike expecially cause ive been playing with gear ratios carbs engine modifications and exhaust lately...so does it do both mph and tach?
You can adjust the sensitivity for quicker readings, it's pretty useful for dialing a bike in. A very functional gadget for me, especially the hour meter for oil changes on 4-strokes. Got mine on sale for $25, pretty hard to beat that.Hmm, Looks cool, though its measurement sure seems to lag a lot after going WOT in those videos.. Or do the motors really take that long to go back down to low idle, they don't really sound it..
It's for 2 and 4-strokes, multiple cylinders and no, the hour meter is not re-settable. Maybe if you removed the batts for some time, but the company say's they're not, and I haven't removed the battery(s).Hmm, is there any way at all to reset the hour reading?
The Tiny Tach has this function:Job timer to track and record intervals and then reset to "0". I don't think the hour meter is re-settable however. The Tiny Tach costs $50....I prefer the TTO for $25-$35, plus it looks cooler!there's also tiny tach: Welcome To Tiny-Tach. Small and economical tachometers for gas and diesel engines.
they make re-settable ones.
was gonna buy one, but never got around to it...
