Whats the deal?!

So why does almost every engine kit vendor have customer service issues?

1. Raw motors- Support email down, nobody on the phone, but will gladly take your money

1. Kings motors- states same day shipping-doesnt happen, nobody on the phone

etc. etc.

not to mention all the horror stories of people getting wrong parts.

If I purchase something from one of these vendors, will I eventually get an item? How do you veterans deal with shady sites like the ones above?

its too bad there are not more reputable companies. I would think they could make some serious money if they had legitimate customer service policies in place.

Maybe we should start our own?? who's with me? !!dance1

Piston bikes is awesome. Never had a problem with them.

I just called PISTON BIKES today. First time calling them, and got someone on the phone right away. I talked to Robert (tell him Romeo sent you). I ordered an engine kit, front brakes, black springer front end, kick stand and seat. Got great customer serivice, and was told it would take 30 minutes to 1 hr to put everything together, and it would definately ship today. they e-mailed me 15 minutes later with an invoice.

brnot <-- this guy looks like me!!

I expect to get my parts either Saturday or Monday. Either way, I'm very pleased with the experiance and professionalism. I will be an avid customer with them, as long as they keep being the same!!!

Try them out, call and talk to Robert.

*Ahem* Matter of personal taste here, but I stick with That'sDax, SBP, & Pirate. And also a little company which goes by the name of CustomMotoredBicycles.com. I've used them before, some many times, and they've NEVER let me down.

I've also heard good news about Venice, BoysGoFast, & Piston Bikes, though I can't say I've shopped there yet.

Anything you need you should be able to dig up at one of those above sites. And they will be there for you if you need them.
