I was at my friend's house, fatdaddy, and he showed me this motor someone gave him.

Now it looks like a front rack friction type but i couldn't identify manufacturer, or if it was actually meant for bicycles? scratg

Any info will be great.

The site should really think about a automatic photo re-sizer when your trying to upload photos.

SICK!!! it looks like a 2 stroke with a manual transmission with a suicide shifter!!! SO COOL!! no idea who make it.. probably off a small bobber type motorbike.. does it have a drive shaft with a sprocket? is it for sale??

Its all there, it has a roller for a friction drive

All you gotta do is figure out how to mount it to a bike, figure out fuel tank, fix the spark cap, and run it.

We found that it has good compression and spark, wire shocked me lol
It's my friends, I'm gonna meddle with it one of these days I go over.

At this point I'm more interested we're it comes from and getting it running

Well, it looks like a front mount friction driver. Are there any identifying marks at all on it? Any patent nos. that could be hunted down?

oh, so shifter is probably to engage the friction drive?? like its maybe mounted on a pivot?? or is it the throttle??? either way.. its pretty sweet...

It also loks like the engine is lengthways on to the bike, and there's a 90 degree drive to the roller. There can't be many made like that.
