Welding Engine to Frame

The studs are both shot on the back of my motor and drilling out is not an option. I was wondering if the engine can be welded to the frame? Can JB Weld + Welding work?

well, if u can tig weld u might as well repair it...

I only have access to the college's welder and they wont let me bring in anything with oil or gas. Maybe if I painted it and made it look new?

Can the potmetal of the engine case be welded onto chromoly frame?

aluminum to steel kinda doesn't work...

cant weld steel to aluminum its not possible

you can fill the holes in with aluminum and re drill/tap the engine

Why not redrill them slightly larger an install helicoils , I used to do that an they are available in many sizes .

This is pretty much 110%, I may be new to the motorized bike world but am a Diesel mech by trade and can't tell you how many times I've done helicoils in cheap pot metal aluminum parts the newer trucks come with.
