This is my first build and I love the look of this thing
A strong 50cc 1960 taz motor out of a keystone minibike
Has an fmf exhaust and Sounds great

Very unique bike, Brec. Some of us aren't familiar with your engine. Can you give us some details about it?
By the way, it looks like it was made for the bike. Nice build. Thanks for sharing.

It is a 1960 taz motor
50cc air cooled 2 stroke
Around 3 hp
4500 rmp
Has points for an electrical ignition
And a two sided single disk clutch
Really rare motor
It's so hard to find parts for

Thanks Brec.
That is truely a rare one and probably well made. Too bad the Chinese didn't choose it to clone. It looks so 'at home' on your bike. Thank you for sharing it with us. Keep us informed on the performance and any details of how the engine does for you.

Is the Taz a Tanaka motor? Speak to Tanaka in Japan, I understand they're still going. They might offer advice or something.
