Just joined up and am amazed at how popular classic annd vintage motorbikes have become. I was a Whizzer owner and drove from LA to Oregon in my youth on it, fun and adventure is my game.cvlt1
 
Welcome to the forum. These motorized bicycles have definitely carved out a niche. It's much cheaper than restoring a Corvette. You don't have to be a mechanic to build and customize a motorbike.

Welcome,red baron.You didn't mention that you rode back from Oregon to LA!
little saddle sore? Sounds like it must of been quite a trip! about how many miles was that?I bet if you started a Thread in the Tavern about your adventure you'd get a lot of followers!Kip.

By the time I got to Malibu it felt like I was riding a 2x4 and the next day in Santa Barbara, I felt like an octopus riding a match, but my buddiy and me kept pushing onward.We started from Huntington Beach in front of the Golden Bear.When we got to Oregon we had a summer job and in Sept. we got a ride back from a neighbor with a pickup.We went to stay at my buddies grandparents.Two weeks on the road some times we got a lift in a truck.r.ly.

Welcome, that put's me to shame. I rode from Corpus Christi, Tx to San Antonio pulling a trailer full of camping gear. Had a ball! 130 miles or so. My arm got tired from waving at cars that honked at my bike :) They thought I was on a cause or something. You will like it here! (c)
