I dropped by a neighbors house yesterday to leave him a few empty 5 gal. buckets for projects around the house, he took me behind his barn under the lean to where he stores lawn equipment, there dirty and dusty was the Townie bike. He said he couldn’t ride anymore due to age and gave it to me, anyone ever motorized one?

I thought is looked too clean for a barn find.
-You will probably need to add a longer front engine mount if you use a 2 stroke. Four stroke may be easier to mount.
-Townies make great e-bikes if you want to spend a bit more.

I haven’t decided which way I’ll go with it, it’s kinda on the back burner right now, I’m in the middle of remodeling our master bath. I’ve hand built a shower, I have a lot of respect for people that do tile every day.
