throttle carb install ?

Hi

seeking help with 2 stroke install , have everything connected
and can start though throttle seems to be stuck as go to twist
and it does nothing ,no room to twist,is the needle suppose to go into jet
or rest on top of it in the carb as mine just rests on it and cannot be pulled
up when twisted having hard time trying to work it out?
any help would be great thanks
 
Into the jet, it has a hole to accept the needle. The slid that the needle is attached to can go in any way BUT only one way is correct. There is a groove in the slide and a thickish pin in the carb body to accect the groove, If you remove the air cleaner you should see that the slide has closed the carb hole. Tighten the cap for the cable finger tight, too tight and it will break.
