The Sky is falling !

The solar eclipse this evening was really interesting...
I grabbed the hood and we could look right at it.
We could see it perfectly.
I don't think I'm gonna win any prizes for astral photography though...
well, unless the judges are swedes! lol

Yes it was very visable in San Diego this afternoon. Used a couple welding helmets at my dads house. One helmet was my grand dads's from his days of welding for the Navy.....it's a relic.

 

[Goat Herder]

We looked through welding helmets. Then took two pieces of paper. Just pricked a small hole in one than let the sun cast a shadow onto a plain piece of white paper. Could see right where the sun was being blocked. Pretty cool.
