Author Terry Pratchett has died at the age of 66 after a battle with Alzheimer's.

The bestselling and much-loved author writer died at home on Thursday, surrounded by his family and with his cat sleeping on his bed

66 is way too young to die My children were great fans of the Discworld series growing up and they converted me to enjoying this series too before moving on to 'The Wee Free Men'. If ever anyone could paint pictures with words it was Terry Pratchett and I know he is going to be sorely missed.
