Especially for high revving 2 strokes, good lubricity under high temps is
necessary to prevent seizing and deposits build-up. A good candidate oil is
100% synthetic and has a high Flash Point. They are more expensive
and not readily available at auto stores. After some research, I found
these three:
Motil 800 2T, flash point, 525F
Amsoil Saber Synthetic 2-Stroke, flash point, 464F
BelRay H1-R, flash point, 396F
If I owned a high rev 2 stroke or one that builds excessive heat,
I would use one of these oils.
All three of these are JASO-FD RATED for oil detergency, clean
burning, and Motul 800 2T say they exceed the Jaso standards.
