stainless steel gas tanks?

Hi there newbie here with a question. Can use a stainless steel thermos as a gas tank? The gas itself will not touch(except for splashes)the top as Im thinking of a quart. If not can anyone suggest a good one?

I don't know about the glass in a thermos,if its good or bad. I want to know about stainless steel. As far as I know they do not put glass in a stainless steel thermos.... at least the ones I use. But thanks for input. :)

No problem with a SS lined thermos. H*** it's been years that glass was used regularly, although you can find them. Mostly in the pumps, and in a cheap thermos.

yeah for the dual line weedeater motors it would be real easy to drill two holes in the cap for the hoses.
