What spark plug do you guys recommend for a 49cc 2stroke motor A NGK B5hs Or a ngk b6hs. I live in phoenix az where it can reach 120 degrees. brnot

i would say the ngk b6hs because it is a colder plug, which is better for a hot climate, because it prevents over heating etc

I think the BPR7HIX is better for you BPR7HIX is mostly used for a little higher CC bikes and this plug goes out when there is lots of moisture in the air... try your luck!!!.trk

The plugs mentioned will work well. As will NGK BPR6HIX, B7HS, BP7HS, BP6HS

Check out Sick Bike Parts for NGK plugs.

Personally, I would run the B6HS in the summer & the B5HS in the winter. A #7 plug might work well for hard riding on those 120 degree days though.
The theory behind choosing the right plug is having a plug that is just hot enough so that it can burn off any gas or oil that sticks to it without being so hot that it causes preignition in the cylinder, (igniting the fuel/air charge before the spark does.)
On the other side of the coin, if the plug's too cold it will foul out with gas & oil.
I hope this helps. :)
