I just ordered up what appears to be a Chinese Solex from ebay.

Supposed to be a complete kit with mounts and that cool curvy muffler can.

I always liked these, yeah they are slow but they were quiet too. I don't mind slow.

This will be my backup for the Roller if the HT gives me too much grief.

Thanks for the info, I didn't even see that thread before I ordered.

I got one from the guy in Canada and was I upset when I see the BGF one for $30 less.

But then I was happy because BGF no shippy to CA.

Sounds like a good deal and just what I was looking for.

Kind of an odd request, but can you tell me who is selling the BGFs on eBay? I think I found the seller you used in Canada. I'm very curious about these as more of a power assist adaption.

BGF is the seller, I believe he has them for as low as $214 with free shipping. I guess it woulb be considered an assist. It motors along quite happliy at 20mph on the flats, slows down a bit and climbs most hill unasisted. You will have to help it up a really steep one. Known for 200+mpg, and in its original manufacture vey long wearing and pretty bullet proof. The Chinese units are still proving themselves. I love mine, its too cool.

I have a friend with a place in Las Vegas that finishes the last leg of delivery for me. That's part of the reason why I was especially interested in a BGF connection.
