Socal Motor Bicycle Racing @ Willow Springs May 6, 2017

We race in the red square but lots of stuff to see and do, cruise around the access roads and there is an air conditioned restaurant right there as well as others a few miles away unlike Grange.

You got 12 days to the Sat May 6th Race, actually only 11 days if you are playing or practicing in the track on Friday May 5th for only $20 for 8am to 5pm.

I'll be there Friday. I will be bringing extra bike's because it is a fun place to ride around. What is the weather going to be like? If it will be hot I need to bring ice cream!

Hey, Weston lapped most of the field with only a coaster back brake.
Who needs brakes? They only slow you down........

Early Sat morning I noticed that Weston and his friend had only a helmet
and his bike had no front brake so no need for any snitches. :)

I am also not a great fan of racing with ape hangers or low cut white
tennis shoes.

I lent Weston and his friend my brand new gloves and pads so they could
race.

Just cause it uses a GP460 means it is a Goped bke?
I have seen a few GP 460's on bikes.
Jeffery did good for his first time on the track with the bike.

Hey Neil,

I was looking at the Willow Springs event calendar and don't see any other races going on. What might be the likelihood of getting onto one of the other tracks? Is that not cool with management? I've always been interested in that Horse Theif track.

Call in sick my friend! Show up Friday early!!! Screw work!

We rode around Big Willow on June 18 2011.

I have been around Horse Theif in both directions numerous times.....

The only track I haven't driven around is Streets of Willow.

Do you know how steep Horse Theif is?
 
Oh Man, I can't take off of work. I am the Director and teacher at a preschool , the kids and parents need me.

Yah, the track looks steep on videos, but I think my bike could handle it.

No big deal though, I know we'll be busy at the kart track.

Thank you Dale for supporting your friends kid at the race.

He did great with a 3rd place so seeing that you guys left early
before the trophy ceremony I owe him a cool trophy which he
can get at Willow.

Safety is getting stepped up at the next race on may 6th.
There will be a printed rule book and more.

Please Remove ALL the round color stickers from your helmet
before signing the waiver at Willow!

Please bring ALL your safety gear to the sign up for inspection.
Helmet, gloves, pads, shoes,
You don't need to bring full Leathers. thanks.
