So So stuck on the throttle and clutch assembly on a chinese "80cc"

Hey all,

Ive installed a chinese 80cc engine into a bmx frame and its gone brilliant so far but ive come across a problem. The problem i'm having is that i cant seem to understand how the throttle cable actually attaches to anything inside the carb? so far all its doing is slotting into the hole in the top of the carb and thats it?! am i missing a step somewhere? also, should there be a spring inside the twist grip to return the throttle to zero twist?

Is it normal for the clutch arm on the crankcase to be really stiff at first? having a little trouble installing the cable there too.

Sorry for all the questions but the instructions i got were rubbish!

Here's the instructions from Zoombicycles' website, they're the most comprehensive I've seen. The section on the carb has what you need:

took me a while to figure out too... you pull the slide out and put the cable end in the slot starting on the very bottom.. put it back in the hole and adjust the cable...



clutch is also very stiff, but with the handle, it's not bad

Thanks! fitted it now! just gotta fit the tank, clutch and chain and ill post some pics!

the clutch will be easier to pull if you dont use the spring.
