Slow??

Yesterday my bike was doing fine, today I took it for a ride and it won't go over 18MPH, anyone have a solution?

Check for air leaks maybe

Happened to me today too. If you're using a CNS carb try messing with the air/fuel screw, worked fine for me

Were you going up hill or down yesterday? Sorry, Just being silly.
How are you checking your speed? Does the engine start easily, idle good? What fuel mix ratio are you using? New fuel mix, or has it been sitting for a while? Check all of your wiring connections. We recommend you solder those and not rely on the kit supplied plug-in style of connectors. What spark plug gap? Check your spark plug wire connections at the CDI and the plug boot. Let us know if any of these suggestions help.

Thanks guys, but I figure it out, exhaust leak & loose choke nut

Neither of those two things should slow you down that much, unless you choke was closing on you.

It happens. I had to rideo ne handed holding my choke down lol.

i took my choke off completly cause it vibrated up and slowed me down

i dont have a primer either so colt starts are harder but not unmanigable

i made a mod to my choke lever bar and i have never had a problem since.. but i also run without a carb cover or filter.. have to put it back on but when i do i will leave the mod on.. i will post pics if i get around to fixing my bike in the morning. but post at night.. check out my photo albums and leave comments if you like..
