hi I have a question on a clutch problem. I have let me just try to explain, so I decided to ride my motor bike on Sunday all of a sudden it stops and I cant ride it back to the house. I check and nothing ended up having to drag it back home and then I bring my tools I tight ten the clutch lever as best as I can and so I am able to start it again the as soon as is I pedal about 2 mph it start but it goes at a high idle and then I cant stop it I have to use the kill switch to stop it tried it again same I feel that something is lost but I don't know wat is it I am new to this and don't wanna spend a pretty penny on a simple thing any help is very much appreciated thanks

The high idle could be a air leak, make sure the carburetor is seated all the way on the intake and is tight. Check the throttle cable for damage or binding, remove the air cleaner and watch the barrel as you twist the throttle to make sure it returns all the way down. If you can't get the clutch tight enough using the cable you can adjust the flower nut on the clutch plate, add a small amount of grease to the gear teeth where the two gears meet while you have the cover off.

hey Greg i just took it to my friend here in imperial beach and he said that it wasn't the clutch he said that it was the carb because me and him fixed the clutch nothing major it was just slipping he needed to tighten it & do general maintenance on the bike but anyway he's telling that the carb might be clogged and i was wondering if you knew how to unclog it without taking apart the carb and cleaning out the jets and all that and if there was an oil that i add on the gas tank or something
