Gordy you’ve likely got far more experience than most you’ll meet and will continue to gain it very fast considering you’re only 17. Good on ya, never stop learning.

I’ve been fortunate to talk to many on here and FB when I decided I wanted to better know the bikers I’ve known online over the years. Even talked to a few “enemies” and all is fine. There’s one guy from the other forum who’s had my number for weeks now, but he still won’t talk it all out in a ten minute call. Not too impressed with motored.

This forum [MOTORED] takes up 90% of what I do on my phone… …I look over at the other forum once or twice a week, but don't usually have anything to comment on
I spent hours daily talkin with motorbikers on the forums, Facebook, everywhere till it got bad in just 4 years. Your phone should have screen time statistics. I bet you’re up to 8 hours a day sometimes. I’ve been there and even far worse like 12 hours maybe worst was 15 hours and I tried everything including going to a smaller screen (I tried an iPhone 13 mini $350 which wasn’t in good condition, now using an iPhone 12 mini in perfect condition for $260. They don’t make small iPhones anymore unless you want to go back to Touch ID with the SE, so used mini 12/13 is the only way to go for Face ID).

You look over at this forum once or twice a week, but were here within 10 minutes after I replied to this thread which was dead since Sunday. Ok.

most of the people here build bikes one after the other, and I simply can't afford that.

Lemme think. I have 2 trucks that need work, 2 fourwheelers that need work, a go kart a mini bike, a baker's dozen of small engines, 2 motorized bikes, several bike frames and motors, a trail 90, and lots more I'm probably forgetting
Really doesn’t sound like a money problem to me.

Nope, it's also not really practical for me to build motorized bikes anymore. I don't live in town and I don't want to ride 8 miles down a busy, curvy highway. You neglected to read the part where I mentioned the fourwheelers and tucks being far more practical, and you also didn't care to notice that I only really care to do the brakes on one truck and get the second fourwheeler running. The rest are just silly little projects I hardly have any money into. If you think I've dumped too much money into any of them, I have 100 bucks into that go kart including the brand new engine, and the mini bike I only had 200 bucks into, sold it for 600, and was given it back, so there's really no money sunk into it. The only thing I have that I may have lost money on is my 2000 gmc. I bought it, drove it for a while, and halfway through a 3000 mile road trip it blew the transmission. But what's to be expected from a truck with 250k miles.

Ever heard of Email? Well this forum sends an email when someone replies, and I check my email frequently for important emails. I do get those, I'm not as much of a bum as you think.
