I'm going to post this because a lot of people detest Huffy bikes.

The only issue I've had with my Huffy was the subpar wheel internals. Everything else has been great! I'd buy another tomorrow ----- but, I don't need to!

Actually, Schwinn and GT were purchased by Pacific Cycles in a bankruptcy sale. Pacific cycles owns other brands like the one-time great Mongoose (I raced a SuperGoose back in the mid 80's) and Ironhorse. Pacific has bikes made in China for box-store to sell cheap - much like Huffy.

I've had a chance to look over a number of big-box retail Schwinns. They're definitely not like the Schwinns I've always known, the bike-store Schwinns. I'm a bit disappointed.
