I did some more work on my bike last weekend I built a truss rod front fork and a tank that goes on the seat tube. The tank was going to be a tool kit but I haven't figured out how to put a nice looking door on it yet. Maybe I'll figure out something later.

Does the toolbox have to be entirely metal? What about a leather or synthetic substitute flap on one side with buckles or little clips that turn through 90 degrees?

Ludwig, That's a good idea I will have to think about that. The steal door didn't seem like a good idea with a hinge showing.
