Yikes, there's a good reason to make sure you're never over-running your lights in the early hours.

That was lucky though, I'd say 19 out of 20 of those that get roadkilled will stink up the neighbourhood. There aren't many where I live now, but they were plentiful where I came from. It was rare when there wasn't a hint o' skunk on the morning breeze (and it was never the green kind ).

i never have been near a skunk but i smell them all the time.
i kinda like the smell. it reminds me of something else that i like that smells skunky.

You say that now. But you ever get sprayed, you will have no friends. And you might change your mind about how much you like the smell once it's all over you.
