Putting 48cc 2 Stroke on a Fixie Bike

Looking to get a 48cc 2 stroke and was wondering if anyone has put an engine on a fixie bike. The bike has a flip flop hub. Any problems or tips?

I've done it before... It should all bolt on without any problems.

Keep in mind that you're gonna want the pedals to be 'freewheel'! ;)

Wasn't there a build a few years back where the owner adapted the pineapple clamp sprocket for the engine by bolting it directly to the Fixie's fixed sprocket?

Had to drop by and see what you are doing. I used a w mart fixie. Its the common double diamond frame just what the CG was designed to fit. If you have an 18t fixed sprocket on a flip hub the common CG 9 hole sprocket will bolt perfectly to it.

The bike I built is the one with the 3spd fixie hub as a trans. Started as a 700c I dropped it to 26".

Thanks!
Was a bit of a challenge but well worth it.
BTW I have a 48cc Grubee and it came with the Yamaha type carb.

LoL, CB. I was imagining the "Panic pedaling" at 30 MPH.

Like a little kid on a scary ride;

Make it stop!!!!
hehe
