Everything seems to be clean and in good order so far. No junk in the cylinder is a good sign. Now all I need is a good bike to put it on.

Hopefully you have yourself a good runner there which will provide uncontrollable grinning from ear to ear for many miles!

These are long metric bolts from the hardware store. I'll cut them to length later.

they really are a fine collection of scrap metal for that kinda price, though...

why wait 'til you can get a good bicycle?
cranbrook is a popular choice in spite of it's shortcomings.
anything with Vbrakes would be a step up...

Well u did get a bike!

...take a link out of the chain and re-position the tensioner...
will work better

My frame layout is too small to allow no tensioner. I just tack weld it for security. It's stone reliable.
