Paso Robles Sidecar Rendezvous

Gutter Rider
These pics were taken at the 5th Annual Vintage Sidecar & Motorcycle Rendezvous in Paso Robles, CA.

The setting at the downtown park was great, and the WX was excellent!

I was looking for inspiration to apply to MABs, and found plenty!

You bet, Russell.
Hope there's something in the pics that can be useful in someone's build...

Somehow, advertising of the Rendezvous was marginal, and sketchy.
I had difficulty even finding them!

Now I have a contact, and will email them soon for more info.

Here's more pics

A sprung fork on a hack
A Burgman with a fork stabilizer
A ural with a trailer
Hack suspension spring on an r69s
and another pic of the Topper

You're welcome Steve,
It's not quite up to the megalopolis donut shop, but it was a nice showing.

Here's a pic of the seat spring on a 4 bmw
a Triumph with an earles type fork
A pan
a scout
And something arrived, afar, that I HAD to get more pics of! :-)

Here's a few more pics of the Paso Robles 5th Annual Vintage Sidecar & Motorcycle Rendezvous.

They were also conducting some sort of flea market at the same time in the park. I was all unrelated things to the motorcycle show.

Probably 6 million wine festivals slated throughout the year!

Here's an Ariel Square 4
...and the other side. Asking price $28,500.
The henderson stole the show!
In this pic, it's running. Look at the seat assembly!!! and the floorboard!

They're all great bikes, with different approaches to the same idea. That Beemer seat is a'kin to tank treads on a mini. Thanks for sharing the pics! That Ariel is definitely unique, but the Henderson is something else!

And Puppers are always cute. :)

lol

Yah, the hack full of dags was great, huh? :-)

Yup, advertising is the key, Harry...
More fun for more people!

The only contact information I have for these people was volunteered by:

Karyl Lammers---- [email protected]

I told her I was a member of a group that monitors an polices mc activity on the planet earth... :-) Not really! lol

But I DID tell her, and all the folks who happened to get included in my poor quality pics, they would get global exposure on this BEST forum on the web!

Karyl did say in the future they would invite more, and hope to have more solo motorcycles. I'm sure they would enjoy our MABs.

Paso Robles is quite friendly to tourists, is enthusiastically promoting wine tourism, and they have an excellent Mid-State Fairgrounds right there in town that is used year round for many functions.

Here's more Henderson pics. It was a very smooth operating machine and it appeared both the front, and rear acetylene lights were functional, though not turned on at the time.

It is interesting that the henderson seems to have a modern front disc brake!

Yes, that front brake IS interesting! Now I wish I had a better pic of it!

Here's another pic of the rider's stance and position on the Henderson.
and sidecar pics... the bare Al hack was recently fabbed by the owner.
Very nice workmanship!
