oval bottom tube on a GT mountain bike?

Hey all
Anyone got suggestions and or pics of an adapter for a GT Mountain bike with the large oval bottom tube? I'm a noob and finding so much great info here. Thanks for any help

here is what I made on my GT Agressor and also on a Gary Fisher a plate adapter to which I can bolt to the motor and then U-bolt around frame and through plate.

It's all steel, formed piece is powder coated.
