Great racing with you guys again, had a blast. My pops Bill already posted the two youtube vids we have atm. Had a **** of a race with the #60 and #831 in the Am class. Won't be able to make the race in Dec. but we are shooting to make the April race tho.

Thanks a lot to everyone for your appreciation of a very fun race.

Just got off the phone with Matt, Richard Warrens son at Joker Machine.

Richard is at home on some good meds after being in the hospital for 2 days.

Richard got pretty banged up with 4 broken ribs, collapsed lung and a broken
collar bone and will be recuperating for a few months off work.

I am going to email him the crash pics captured by Carrie Shreck our pro
photographer at the race.

I know that everyone at the race wishes Richard a speedy and pain free recovery
and Matt said we will all see him again at the next big SMBR event on April 12th at
the Willow Springs go kart track.

Also all the best to Joe #43 with his broken shoulder? in the off camber corner.

Wow, I sure hope for a speedy recovery for Richard and Joe. I guess I was lucky with only a separated shoulder and possibly a fractured wrist (Which after 4 months I still can feel them both).

sorry to see/hear of the seriously injured ---in graphic detail--speedy recovery

key point--- as seen in all the race action photos--you really have to know and trust your tires as well as your riding/racing skills to begin to take on the speeds of such competition!!

Yes, Carrie took some awesome pics and rides in a moped girl gang called the gaskettes.

She got out on the track at the race for a bit and may race at Willow Springs go kart track on April 12th 2014

Carrie is top left in this pic of the First Ladies of Moped, the Gaskettes.
I tried to join but Carrie said I had to have an operation first and that
tucking and taping would not qualify me to get one of their gold jackets. :D

We need some motorized bike girl gangs...........

I just hope you guy know that you are KILLING me by holding these races waaaayyyy out on the left coast.
Looks like the kind of racing I used to do on the dirt tracks in Ill. No attitudes, no fistfights in the pits.
Just good racing and good people.
Not to mention all the bicycle porn I see in the pits. *drools*
You are all lucky I can't get to a race...I'd smoke alla yazz!
