Did the October Race at Grange go by the wayside.....I see no mention of it anymore? Is there still a set date and if so, please post it here. It's good to know in advance so time can be taken off from work to be able to attend.

Richard at Joker Machine has anodized the last of those billet trophies black.
Just gotta decide what to say on them.
The new 79 / 99cc HF class needs at least 4 entries to get one of those very cool trophies.
We have Scotto, AGK, Norm Venice Motor Bikes and don't know if Culvercityclassic is entering his 99 cc?
Anyone else getting into this very Fun race class?
Theoretically you could win the 99 CC HF class and the Mid range class.
Don't forget about the 12 HP class which is very affordable because you only need minimal mods to a 200 CC 4 stroke to make 11+ HP.

The 79 CC HF motor is still available shipped to CA and about the same as the 99 performance wise.
You would be racing against your brother on his GX 120 in the Midrange class.
The Midrange class is going to be limited to 30 racers and may be filled up before the Oct 19th race day.

Cool Norm! The 99cc are combined with the midrange class as there are too few of them.We'll be there.

s.c.t.a. is having a meet on sunday the day after the grange race at el mirage. this place has more history than bonneville. all motorheads should be their at least once in their life. less than a hour away from grange. hundreds of one off racers that can and can't afford to go to the salt. you will see it all, prepare for dirty wind if you go.

Almost have the design completed for a new billet trophy for the 2 stroke China girl race classes.
All the other race classes will be awarded Joker Machine billet trophies that have been anodized black for this Oct 19th race so the engraving will show as silver.
Thanks to Richard they are really going to look sharp!

4 of the 7 race classes are on the Joker machine billet trophies above.
The other 3 race classes are the China girl classes which are getting some very cool functional billet trophies.

Moped Ryan the Dyno man will be there doing dyno runs and probably racing a Tomahawk noped in the Unlimited class.
The 11 HP class was based on the highest stock HP motor which was a 11.4 HP water cooled Morini.
The limit is actually 11.999 HP so 12 HP
A 50 CC 2 stroke could fit in the Midrange class so there is no bottom CC limit.
The Midrange class now has sub classes like the 99 CC HF so we will have a 5 HP Briggs sub class this race too. msrfan and the rest of the Briggs gang deserve it.
Any motor type if we have enough of them can do the same.
Any small 35 CC 4 stroke, 2 stroke friction drives, Gebe belt drives, rear mounts etc would race with the China girl Amateur class as a sub class.
There is limited track time in a day and any new separate race class will add about an hour to the race day that ends at around 4 pm now with the prize ceremony after that.
