Newbie .... hello.... Awesome site , just started my build.

hello out there. I am new here. My name is Greg. I have been looking at these sites for about a month now. These forums are great. Everyone seems really cool and helpful...

My project:

Bike: FS elite cruiser (6spd) not sure of year. Bought off Clist for 50 bucks, needs tires/tubes, but other than that it looks new. Non-coaster brake , has hand breaks. No fenders but they will come later. Trying to watch my money.

Has anyone built one from an FS elite convertable ? stories ? pics ?

Engine: As of right now I am still investigating , leaning toward grubee skyhawk 48cc....

I am going to disassemble the bike and re-paint , paint gas tank to match , then add engine kit. No major modifications just a basic motor bicycle.

Look forward for more , I will start posting pics as the build goes along..
