I have some experience with the MX-5 superbike. My first Mx-5 still runs after being stolen for 2 years,
driver full throttle for about 5 years. No more air shroud,its noisy,but fast for its age;23mph on heavy cruiser,still " sings". No unsolvable problems. A big roller(wire hose over) got me up to 32mph,but killed
the torque. I'm happy. RJ

It's probably my lack of experience, but I didn't understand the part "big roller (wire hose over)". Glad to hear your stolen bike is back at home.

I think "big roller" is friction drive lingo.
