Hi All,
I just joined and I thought I'd introduce myself right off the bat. This motorized bike thing is just what I need. I rode Sears mopeds back in the early 60's and bought, rode and maintained a 1951 HD 74 from 1966-83. I presently have a Cushman Scooter that I'm getting ready to restore. I might add that I was given my Uncle's Whizzer motorbike (Whizzer frame, not just a kit) that, unfortunately, my Dad threw out when I was overseas...oh well.
I'm really facinated by the Boardracer inspired bikes, as I certainly couldn't afford a genuine one. I believe that's the direction I'd like to go. Until then I'll be lurking and trying to come up to speed (bad pun!) on these.
Other hobbies include diy Audio, wooden boatbuilding .....and so on.
Best Regards,
TerryO
