Is it esier to buy a new motor instead of replacing a clutch in a used motor ? Not sure I want the hassle. Thanks

If your clutch works, but the pucks (they look like mini brakepads) are worn down, the repair is cheap and requires no unusual tools.
Beyond that, it's probably to better to get a new motor.
Maybe you can give us more details.
I thought I had a bad clutch, but after some disassembly, I found a trashed bearing on the shaft behind the sprocket was the problem and it was a cheap fix.

When a clutch replacement will equal a motor replacepent w/clutch some thing isnt right in my opinion......but your engines are so reasonable and the happy t gear box I can see your enthusiasm for it.
