muffler type question

I have one like that from my 99cc Predator
if you come to FH, you can have it for free

I found it to be pretty restrictive ;)

Don't per say have anything against them although I am getting tired
of being burnt and having hot oil on my clothes and bike, and yes with a
four stroke most of the oil drip-page will be gone. The main reason
however is that I'm trying to find enough room to mount a small 12 volt
10AH battery for my head lights.
and to he who offered one, THANKS but everything going on her will be new
to start with and if it does restrict airflow that's an idea left by the wayside.
Thanks for the feedback

IMHO this should be the bikers mantra
You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because your all the same!!

On Big Red I removed the kill knob and box exhaust, ran the kill button up to the throttle and just put a stock kit pipe on it.
It points darn near straight done and no oil leaks at all.

There is zero reason for a 4-stroke having any dirty exhaust let alone a pipe drip leak.

Using a 2-stroke can muffler that's made for a 33cc engine would be like snorkling underwater breathing through a drinking straw. I wouldn't recommend it.

the one I have is brand new, I pulled it off the exhaust mainifold before I swapped the engines (I cut the flange off the manifold and attached a flex-pipe exhaust)

a friend in towm also has a 99, I rode his and that is how I know it is restrictive ;)
