I dont think getting water in the engine would be a good idea... best to stick to compounds designed for the job.

Any cleaner designed to use on fuel systems will burn, water will not. I wouldn't want water since its heavier than gas or oil sitting in the crankcase causing rust.

you get water in there every time the humidity is high (or raining)

the internal temps will vaporize all water almost instantly and shoot it out the muffler

isn't that what I just said above ??

his way will work fine, but I often point out simpler alternatives for the less advantaged folk

there is no "one correct way" to do these, but several wrong ways to avoid - so a lot of good options are nice to have

Dumpstercrusher try and remove the o ring in the top, it may be causing the throttle to not go all the way down. Just a shot I think that will help.
