There is a Ice Shanty Art Project on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. One of the various diversions is a bicycle race on the frozen lake. BIL went low tech but doable. Rubber cement coated tires rolled unto coarse chicken grit. Mark did not win a thing but saving his dignity. 08 it was, using a dumpster bike.
