Ludwig goes forth

Bravo Lud! Been out on the roof for a while listening to Paul Butterfield Blues and came back in for this. Life is good!

There are several Going Forths in the near future.

22-25 Sept, Pendine Sands to see the motorcycle records weekend (1 mile run up, 1 mile timed, 1 mile slowing down).

5-9 October, Swanage Blues Festival again.

11-19 October, New Orleans. Do we have anyone here who lives there?

Pendine out of the way. Nice people, but not exciting enough for me to want to get a record breaker built.

Pendine's out of the way. Nice people, but record breaking's not for me, not enough drama and no head on competition.

Love and kisses to all and sundry, off until Monday night, going to Swanage to help drain the European Cider Lake and make loud guitar noises.

I'm back. If you have never been and you like your music raw and real, played with fire by world class musicians, you have to visit, and probably end up staying, on Frenchmen Street. Never seen so many top notch bands in one space and one time in my life.

1 x typical bar window in Frenchmen Street
1 house with what I'm told is a pandanus. It was Yuge!

Ludwig went forth and came back. I stayed in the house this video was taken from. We had a rare bout of freezing rain and then a wait until the skating rink thawed and we could escape safely.

Tomorrow (17th) my final Jolly Boys Outing. One brother and the New Orleans friend, followed by others during the week, there will be jams, open mics, wine, a small amount of sightseeing, wine, music, wine.

Paris was brilliant. I have met some people in the past who told me the people were miserable and unhelpful, all I can say is there must be another Paris, smiles, laughter, happiness abounded.

Not many pictures, but memories by the bucket load.

Sounds great Sir Lud. I have friends who visit France yearly and they really enjoy it. I have buckets of memories somewhere, just can't locate them.

No orders but much admiration. We were sat at one pavement cafe when an English woman asked to take a picture of us, and were we musicians? My brother's never looked Cool in his life before, he had people glancing admiringly at him as they walked by.
