Klaxon Horn

There are tons of these on ebay right now for cheap:

Metalic base but the acual horn is metalic painted plastic. I sanded mine down and painted it black to go with my Army Green/Black color scheme. Says 12volt but sounds off nicely with 6. Sucker is LOUD! Good item to ad to a classic/cruiser style build.

They are kind of large. I'm torn as to mount it under my seat, under the gas tank or on my front fender. It's over a foot long and a bit heavy.

I was originally looking at these but due to the size I went with one of the handlebar mount push horns. They are also referred to as Klaxon horns as well. I purchased two different types until I found the one I wanted. One type is not very loud and is not good for motored bikes so I resold it. The second one was the ticket! It has the bolts around the diameter of the front horn area. Very loud and can be heard clearly over the motor even at high speeds.

Mine came from eBay. Just do a search for Plunger Horn. There are a couple listed like the one I have.

I went with under the seat. Good thing too since I messed up the paint job pretty bad. Can be seen in thread: http://motorbicycling.com/f41/greenline-super-rat-35534-2.html. fairly out of the way mounting, if I do say so myself

This thing is already broken. Peice of poop. Got rained on, and no longer works. Don't get one.
