Kit for this Bike?

I bought this Bike from a Garage sale and am thinking of motorizing it. Worth it? What would be a reasonable priced kit to buy for it? Anyone recognize what it might be? Just might be a cool one to motorize up..Maybe not..Thanks

As to what you choose to build it depends on your expectations, skills, and budget.

More less I just want to motorize it, does not have to be particuliarly speedy, just fun and functional. Will not be repainted and all that..Just a simple operational motorized bicycle as simple and cheapy as it can be done..Will not be a hill climber or anything.Just around the town on flat streets. Skill level is not a problem for me at all. Just would like to motorize it in the sub 200.00 range or so.

If you want to keep it under $200... I recommend a 2-stroke kit.

Research on how to reinforce the fenders; otherwise remove them. Many horror stories of the accidents they've caused

The only problem I can remember on older bikes is crank arm clearance, I’ve never had a problem but some have here on the forum. As Jerry said reinforce the fenders or better yet remove them. The engine vibration will shake nuts and bolts apart, removable loctite is your friend.
