Kill switch prevents bike from starting

I have a Chinese 2 stroke “80cc” bike kit that installed a couple weeks ago. The spark plug ended up dying a few days later so I replaced it and upgraded the cdi. After that the kill switch started preventing the bike from starting. After numerous times playing with the wires, I could not start the bike with the kill switch plugged in. I do not need a kill switch but it would be nice to have. Any suggestions?

You can take it apart and see if there's something odd or you can replace it. The link below is from eBay.
