Kabocho

Can anyone tell me more about the kabocho engine on amazon... I have one and it has a one piece head and I want to get a ported jug, piston and high compression head I want to make sure I get the right one that matches my rod there's very little information on it from amazon

Welcome to the forum, we're seeing more engines with the one piece cylinder/head. I haven't heard of anyone replacing the one piece with a regular cylinder and head. As far as pistons go I only know of two, measure the pin height from the bottom of the skirt to pin.

After you determine which piston type you have find a cylinder for your"type" of piston, maybe the port timing will be correct.

Thanks for the input but I don't want to take it down till I know what I need since I don't know if my gasket will make it cause I'm using it daily to get to work and what not... I know there's 2 wrist pin positions on the pistons but do you know if there's different rod lengths as well? The 2 specs that it shows on amazon is 47mm and 40mm... does that tell you anything?

40mm stroke would make it a 68.5-69cc engine, Fred the guy that makes the performance heads did a video showing four different rods so there probably more. As long as you order the piston/cylinder type port timing should not change. You will have to measure the piston to get the right type.

Can you post a link to that video please?
