hello, I'm having an issue with my rear brake lines and I haven't found any posts about this particular problem.
The rear brake lines on my bike run down from the handlebars and across the top of the top bar of the bicycle to the back wheel. The gas tank however needs to be installed right on top of the top bar, rendering the back brakes unusable. The brake wires were anchored to the top bar in small hook type pieces of metal that the lines must be slotted into to keep them tight and operational. I thought of cutting off these pieces of metal and attaching them on the bottom side of the top bar, but I'm hoping there's a simpler solution.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
