I have been cut off!

Still waiting on responses from Rose and EOS.

Do you guys think if nothing works out, I can contact one of these dealers and ask them to ship the carb separate from the motor kit? That should classify as parts instead of an engine kit, right? Loopholes are wonderful :P

I got a kit from Rose326a. They are located in Pasadena, CA. They send to CA residents. I bought a kit from them last month. Be prepared to pay CA sales tax.

=/ this is starting to irritate me. Rose just told me last week that they don't ship to cali. I will message them back and see what the deal is.

On a better note, EOS (Engine online shop) emailed me back saying they do ship to California. I would much rather order from rose, but if I can't, at least I have a backup option.

I will keep you updated with more info as I obtain it.

Wow, I don't know why because their listing doesn't say they "won't send to CA." I just bid on a 66cc black kit and won at $105 + $30 shipping + CA sales tax. I paid with pay-pal and I got my kit in just a few days. It was real quick shipping to Santa Barbara from Pasadena. I should say that the kit was complete but the engine was damaged in shipping. I contacted them and sent the engine back to a Pasadena address (cost me $16) but they sent another one and I got it 3 days later. This all happened just a few weeks ago, I haven't built the bike yet.

Wow, they are waaaaaaay overpriced. It seems Rose is the best seller (with EOS coming in second). I want to buy from rose because of the free shipping and fast delivery time. I guess they just don't like me :p

I know i keep saying this but EOS is the same price and they have free shipping

ya I am very interested in this one myself http://www.enginesonlineshop.com/Fla...ngine-Kit.html but at the same time I don't know if it has anything about cali I know I like the prices and and shiping they have

ill keep my eye out for another good price site that will send to cali for ya hopefully we all can get ya a few good places :}

Yea so far they are the only confirmed dealer that sells to cali. I will update the first post with links to dealers that sell to Cali as I find them.

Just an update with the purchase:

I have been talking to the Sales Support person via email, and they said the do not include the U-adapter for free. I told them how I am making bikes for people, and don't want to jeopardize the integrity of the bike's frame by drilling into it, and the support person (don't know the name yet) said they will throw in the adapters for free when I order.
So far, they have responded to my emails within the hour, and I am very pleased with their customer service.

Lettuce know when you have a couple china girls sitting on your lap....adapters or not.

I live in San Diego and can sell you kits with the u shape adapter for $190 and deliver them to your door!!!

You would be the best seller no doubt, but my profit margin is already pretty small, so I definitely cant do $190. EOS is selling them to be for a grand total of $140 with tax included, so If you can match that, I would gladly buy them from you instead. Maybe if I come pick up the kits from you, we can lower the cost?

I would love to have a dealer near me (like you) so I don't need to wait for shipping, and if there are any problems I can just contact you or meet with you.

Let me know if this is doable,
-Chris

What happened? Liberals took over the state is what happened! Okay, as far as I understand it, it is against the law to send a 2 stroke engine into the state of CA (unless you pay off the proper officials). However it is not against the law to send a 2 stroke engine within the state. Therefore, to get one you must find a dealer located in CA. It is not against the law to own one or use it in CA. Also, it is not against the law to send 2 stroke engine parts into the state. You can buy a lower end crank case and an upper end (cylinder, head, and piston set) and put it together yourself. "Seig Heil!!"

that's not true, bikeberry.com is in CA and they wont ship within CA

Alright, perhaps I am mistaken. I was told that is the rule but perhaps it is not. I didn't mean to spread false information about the fascist laws of the State of CA.
