Thats a nice filter Tyler, I was looking at those intakes the other day, the only reason i didnt order one is that it suggested i have a level mounted motor which mine sits similar to yours, so i dont know if my carb will sit at even more of an angle than it does know, so my question is has anyone used this intake with a motor mounted at an angle like Tcams bike, and does it effect the float in the carb, if not im getting one, i like the port match and the O'ring!!!

Im in the process of making a skate wheel tensioner using the stock tensioner. I also have a 36t thats going to replace the 44t on the Pedal side for easier pedaling. Im gonna try and level my motor just a tad and see if there are problems w/ intake/carb. I let you know

I gave in and ordered one of those intakes this morning, i guess if it doesnt work i can change my front mount to level out the motor a little bit more, either way if i can get more power than i already have, and fix my idle problem at times, than ill be in good shape!!!

Today I went to Usabike motors and Bill let me use a few tools that I did have. I put a 36t sprocket on the pedal side (thanks Surfer Mike for the idea). I dont have to stand up every red light to start moving.

My chain and tensioner were giving me alot of problems. So I took a few links out of my chain and got rid of the big ass stock tensioner and bought a smaller one. It (I think) works better than the bigger one and its not as bulky.

I also got some HD rusty pedals that I really like. The stock ones are crap.

Thought Id share with the world what I did to my cranbrook today.

I am VERY happy. (^)

Just finished installing a set of Springers from bikebuyers.com on one of my Crannys. Our side streets in Muncie are like a war zone. Made a HUGE dif! Highly recommended.

The Springer stem is 1" dia.. All your hardware, bearings, cups, nuts, stem, etc. will work. I did have to trim the top of the fork stem with the Dremel. Cut off about 1/2". I will ATTEMPT to post some footage of the Crannys on YouTube. I'm kinda new to that sort of thing.

Camlifter, that is one nice cranbrook. What did you do with the tank and how to do forks feel. Are they sturdy enough for 30mph.

Also to those with cranbrooks. I have a weird sound coming from the bike and im pretty sure its not the motor. Every-time i let off the gas and pull clutch in and brake it sounds like its my coaster breaks or something but it makes weird sound that is hard to describe. Just wondering if any others have had this indescribable sound.

I used to get a clicking sound even with the drive chain off and just pedaling. It went away when I got a new rear wheel. Problem rear hub maybe?

my rear hub was loose, it was making a tick/click noise.
it was strange cause if you tried to wiggle the wheel when it was mounted on the bike there was no play in the hub. when it was off the bike there was a good amount of play.
i just adjusted the hub and now my ticking noise is gone.

tcams: how do you have your rear sprocket setup? do you have it so the teeth are close to the spokes or flipped so the teeth are away from the spokes?

right now my chain is rubbing a little, but my rear and front sprockets are lined up perfect. i was gonna flip my sprocket so the teeth are away from the spokes.
just wondering how you have your setup
thanks

Yeah I just pulled my back wheel off and the sprocket was a tad loose im going to tighten to see if thats what is causing the annoying noise.

And My teeth are away from the spokes. Shiny side in if your sprocket has a shiny side.

What is your chain rubbing on. your tire or chain stay.
