How to repaint a bike frame

    remember when ratlecanning,take yor time,start with a light tack coat and let it set up.
    dont try to get it 100% covered in the first coat.
    give it proper drying time between coats.
    too many layers will induce chipping.
    primers,bases and clears should all be from the same company.for compatibility reasons.

    Why not just use the liquid brush on paint remover and water wash the stuff of when softened and loose?

    i like the aircraft remover you can get at pepboys. they make it in a spray can. but make sure you read the warning labels... :)

    You don't use aircraft remover on aircraft because they'll disappear! DUH!.

    So my buddy has gotten an airbrush. What typeof colors do you recommend using for my bike, this is my first project.

    wire brush to welds. One wire brush to a bike. 6" wire brush.
