How to Pick the Right spark plug

Hi good people. Im trying to figure out exactly what type of plug I need for my 80 cc motor.. any suggestions on how to tell what one to get ?

in california, with no engine modifications, get a NGK B6HS. with mods, get a BP7HS.

NGK B6HS is a widely used plug. I run the NGK iridium myself, but I have several mods.

It's all about using a plug with the correct heat range!
I use NGK B6HS in the summer (colder plug) & B5HS in the winter (hotter plug).

If the plug is too hot?, it can cause pre-ignition; & if it's too cold?, it can foul with unburned gas & oil.

For someone like Baird who runs a heavily modified engine (that will run hotter), he would have to use a colder plug to prevent pre-ignition.
