How test new kit?

Yep,
After putting most of a new Two stroke 50 cc motor kit on a new cruiser bike I bought just to build I have one question How do I test the motor especially the clutch. I have every thing together except the chain and guard. I used a lot of YouTube since the manual that came with the kit is only 2 percent useful. I'm Still lost but hopeful.
To be honest the clutch doesn't seem right it could just be me.

The clutch shouldn't need adjusting!
The clutches on new 2-stroke kits are usually a little stuck from sitting in a box for months.

Completely build the bike, (chain on & everything)... then pull in the clutch lever & roll the bike back & forth until the clutch breaks loose.
