How centered does the rear sprocket have to be?

Fixed my original bike with the clutch "problem". Decided to take the back wheel off and remount the pineapple bushing. I noticed a strange grinding sound coming out of the hub. Holy ****, never seen what was inside that hub before. Sort of muddy, gritty, maybe be grease product with black chunks of I assume burnt something. LOL. Know idea how many miles were put on the bike before I got it but I do know it lived by the beach. It took me 45 minutes to clean and repack the coaster hub. I should have taken pictures because what it looked like on the inside was amazing. Amazing that it actually rolled at all. Looks like the gritty hub was causing my clutch problems. I also reinstalled the pineapple bushing but I think the hub was actually stopping at times or causing a lot of friction off and on.

Today I have two full function motorized bikes that both went for a 5-7 mile shake down run with no problems.

Hmmm, I kind of want to build a bike with a built in gas tank and a couple of other upgrades. Time for a sale. How much would be a fair price for that Huffy Nel Russo? I'm in it for around $400 or a little less and thinking $750 is a decent price? Good price?
 
I personally think folks sell MBs for ridiculously low prices. We really do. A non working scooter can go for a grand and we'll sell 500 in parts with 20 hrs labor for $ 400, lol.

As I do this as a hobby, I count my time at min wage X cost of parts (if new) all used, I cut that in half. But it's only worth what some one will pay for it. Other butt, if ya start at to low a price, can only go down to gift status.

Only my thoughts but see some real functual art get treated like rubble and it really bothers me.

Wut? I'm sensitive, lol.
 
$350 to $450 is pretty much all a disposable MB is worth to the buyer

around this area, many folks finally figure out that these are not motorcycles or motor scooters and get tired of them and sell for $200 to $250 while it is still fairly new

if I get a sale at $440 for one I've built well, I make good money since all the parts to buy only come to about $240
 
Whatever the most amount is that you could get for it is worth selling it for. All of those 2-stroke motors are garbage. And there isn't one single part of the kit that isn't garbage either.

But I really like tinkering with all this garbage. I've gotten way more than my money's worth outa my Skyhawk kit........plus, it cured the itch for a $7500 motorcycle!

I'm kind of a fear of that. LOL. I could see getting a frame with a tank built in, upgraded wheels etc. etc. I could see dropping a $1000 on one of these bikes quick.

Mine is probably already there......but, over the course of 4 years. Still the cheapest hobby I've ever had!
