Man, was looking at Harbor Freight today and checking out the 420cc w/electric start......man that would be the bomb for the tandem!

Right at 40 if you really push it, best cruise speed is 30-35, Has a 10:1 ratio. Pulls pretty well from the bottom also, has to, as it has no pedals. Lowracers Lifan topped 50mph, he had a vey high ratio like 8:1 maybe. He could get away with it because he lives in the low country of South Carolina.

This came in the latest HF flyer to my mailbox (with all the other junk mail) today in San Diego, CA.
Now seriously thinkin about gettin the HF 420cc electric start for the tandem......got room for that engine of 13+hp. And the beauty of electric start just makes it sound even better! The sound of a true thumper.....oh I think so

YES he said so i bought it. Then he told me theres 1 more on the east side of town,,,, Looks as if i will head there tomorrow morning,,, Could use some spare parts or replacement parts.This came in the latest HF flyer to my mailbox (with all the other junk mail) today in San Diego, CA.

Just curious as i have seen a few people treating these thing like some sought after thing, when to me these are more like laptop from 3 years ago.
