Welcome to the best motored bike forum :D

What is your budget? How much are you willing to spend on your kit?

Come to the ride on July 18th to check out many kinds of motorized bicycles

I'll go with Bikeguy Joe on this one. After engine break in, if you still need more climbing power, you can consider a shift kit.

The Chinese 2 stroke kits are NOT the only choice available.....

They may be the cheapest but there are many kinds of motorized
bicycle kits from ~$100 to $700

Forbisher is correct, the Chinese in frame kit is not the only motorized bicycle kit or option. It was my assumption that you were going for the "standard" china kit. But-if you need a lot of power, go with a Polini or other higher power unit. For low cost, you could even make your own engine "kit" for less than $100.00 from a weed wacker.

Well, if you want reliable. Don't get a HT.

Since you want to conquer hills, look at something that as the ability to change gears.
